Stugeron 15mg tablets contain cinnarizine and are used for the control of motion sickness, including the nausea and vomiting that travel by car, coach, boat or plane can bring on. For adults and children aged 5 years and over, sold by Ways Pharmacy (UK).

Who it is for
- Adults who feel sick, dizzy or queasy on boats, coaches, cars or flights.
- Children aged 5 and over travelling on a journey that usually makes them travel sick.
- Anyone who wants to take something before a journey rather than once symptoms have started.
Not suitable for: Children under 5 years. Anyone allergic to cinnarizine or to any of the other ingredients. Cinnarizine should be avoided if you have porphyria. If you have Parkinson's disease it should only be taken if a doctor judges the benefit outweighs the risk. Ask a pharmacist or doctor first if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, if you take sedatives or other medicines that cause drowsiness, or if you have a lactose or sucrose intolerance.
How to use
- Read the label and Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) before use.
- Adults and children over 12: take 2 tablets 2 hours before you travel.
- Then take 1 tablet every 8 hours during the journey if you need it.
- Children 5 to 12 years: take 1 tablet 2 hours before travelling, then half a tablet every 8 hours during the journey.
- Swallow the tablets with water. Do not exceed the stated dose.
- Do not give to children under 5 years.

Can children take Stugeron?
Children aged 5 to 12 take half the adult dose. It is not for children under 5.
Will it make me drowsy?
It can, particularly when you first start taking it. If you are affected, do not drive or operate machinery.
Can I drink alcohol while taking it?
Alcohol can add to the drowsiness cinnarizine causes, so it is better avoided while you are taking it.

- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
