GP appointment

• The patient must be physically located in the UK at both booking and consultation and must have valid photo ID ready.
• Check the selected service's age rules; most services are adults-only. Eligible under-18s must use DrOnline's children's pathway, complete screening, have a parent or legal guardian present throughout, and provide photo ID for both.
• Use the correct email and check spam. Have a working camera and microphone, reliable internet, check the video link in advance and join on time.
• DrOnline cannot access NHS medical records. Give complete and accurate medical history, medication and allergy information.

• This is a remote, non-emergency service. Appointments normally cover one clinical issue; needs requiring physical examination or outside the service scope may not proceed.
• The fee pays for a clinician's time and professional assessment. It does not guarantee treatment, a prescription, sick note, referral letter or any other document.
• A wrong, out-of-scope or unsuitable remote booking may be non-refundable. Contact DrOnline before paying if you are unsure.
• Arriving more than five minutes late may mean the consultation cannot proceed and a new full-price booking is required.

• At least 48 hours' notice: one reschedule may be allowed under DrOnline's current terms, but DrOnline does not refund the appointment fee for a patient cancellation. Its terms also state that the rescheduled consultation must take place within 48 hours of the original booking, so confirm the new time with DrOnline before cancelling.
• Less than 48 hours' notice: no refund and no rescheduling. Missed appointments are also non-refundable.
• If DrOnline cancels, a clinician is more than 15 minutes late without notice, or a verified DrOnline system failure prevents attendance, DrOnline offers a full refund or free rebooking.
• This summary does not affect your statutory rights. DrOnline's terms state that, if you ask for service to start during the 14-day cancellation period, that cancellation right is lost once you access or attend the consultation. Service-specific terms shown in the booking tool may also apply.

Information entered into DrOnline's booking or consultation system is handled under DrOnline's Privacy Policy. Information you separately give Ways Pharmacy for a pharmacy order, collection or dispensing service is handled under Ways Pharmacy's Privacy Policy.
