Frequently asked questions

What does the vitamin C in JointCare do?

Under the EU/UK Register of Health Claims, vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage. The product also provides vitamin D, which contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and normal muscle function, and manganese, which contributes to the normal formation of connective tissue.

What are glucosamine and turmeric in this product?

Glucosamine is a compound naturally found in the body and turmeric is a culinary root containing curcumin. In this supplement they are included as ingredients; neither carries an authorised EU/UK health claim, so they are listed here as facts rather than benefits. The cartilage, bone and connective-tissue claims relate to the added vitamins and minerals.

How much omega-3 and turmeric does it contain?

Each daily serving provides 190mg of omega-3 and 4000mg of turmeric (as an 85mg extract), alongside glucosamine, vitamin C, vitamin D and manganese. See the pack nutrition panel for the full breakdown.

Can I take it with other supplements or medicines?

This product already contains omega-3 and several vitamins and minerals, so avoid doubling up with the same nutrients. If you take blood-thinning medication, have a shellfish allergy, are under medical care, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your pharmacist or GP first.
