How to Use

1. Wash and dry your hands. Select a new needle and check that its individual sterile seal is intact and the stated expiry date has not passed.
2. Remove the protective seal, then use the outer needle cap to attach the needle straight and securely to a compatible pen. Do not overtighten.
3. Remove and retain the outer needle cap, then remove the inner needle cap without touching the needle.
4. Prime the pen and check the flow where required by the pen and medicine instructions.
5. Inject the prescribed dose using the technique and timing advised by your healthcare professional. Rotate injection sites and avoid swollen, inflamed, infected or damaged skin.
6. After the injection, follow the pen instructions to detach the needle safely and place it immediately in an approved sharps container.
