Who it is for
For adults and children with a fungal skin infection, including fungal nappy rash. The external genital-skin uses are candidal vulvitis and candidal balanitis. If you are unsure what is causing symptoms, speak to a pharmacist rather than self-diagnosing.
Not suitable for: anyone allergic to clotrimazole or another ingredient. During pregnancy, use only on a doctor’s advice. Ask for advice if breastfeeding, planning pregnancy, taking medicines or living with an underlying condition.
How to use
- Read the label and the patient leaflet supplied with the pack before use.
- Wash hands before and after applying. Apply a thin, even layer to the affected skin two or three times a day and massage gently.
- Continue for at least two weeks for Candida infections and at least one month for dermatophyte infections; follow the leaflet for your diagnosis.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms have not improved within seven days.
