Not suitable for: babies under 3 months or under 5kg; children allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other NSAIDs; children with a stomach ulcer or bleeding problem; or children with chickenpox unless advised by a doctor. Speak to your pharmacist or doctor first if your child has asthma, kidney or liver problems, or is dehydrated. You must be 16 or over to buy this product.
How to use
- Read the patient information leaflet inside the pack and check the dose for your child's age and weight.
- Shake the bottle well before measuring each dose.
- Measure the exact dose using the enclosed oral syringe — do not use a kitchen spoon.
- Give a dose 3 times in 24 hours, leaving at least 4 to 8 hours between doses as stated in the leaflet. Do not exceed the stated dose.
- Give for the shortest time needed. If your child is under 6 months and symptoms last more than 24 hours, or for older children more than 3 days, or if they get worse, speak to your doctor or pharmacist.

How much Nurofen for Children should I give?

Can I give Nurofen and Calpol (paracetamol) together?
