Dioralyte Blackcurrant - 20 Sachets

Dioralyte Blackcurrant is an oral rehydration therapy designed to replace essential body water and salts lost during episodes of acute diarrhoea.

Suitable For:

Infants, children, and adults experiencing acute diarrhoea.

Ingredients & Composition:

Active Ingredients (per sachet):

• Sodium chloride (0.47g)

• Potassium chloride (0.30g)

• Glucose (3.56g)

• Disodium hydrogen citrate (0.53g)

Other Ingredients:

• Colloidal silica

• Saccharin sodium

• Blackcurrant flavour

How to Use:

1. Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 200ml of fresh drinking water.

   • For infants or where clean drinking water is unavailable, use freshly boiled and cooled water.

2. Prepare the solution just before use.

   • If refrigerated, it may be stored for up to 24 hours.

   • Otherwise, discard unused solution within one hour.

3. Dosage:

   • Adults (including elderly): One or two sachets after each loose stool.

   • Children: One sachet after each loose stool.

   • Infants under 1 year: Use only under medical supervision.

Important Info:

• Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

• If symptoms persist for more than 24–36 hours, consult a doctor.

• Store below 25°C and keep out of reach of children.

Hazards and Cautions:

• Always use freshly prepared solution.

• Do not store unrefrigerated for more than one hour.

• For infants under 1 year, consult a healthcare professional before use.
