Who it is for

Adults and children aged 12 and over who notice blood when they brush, or whose dentist has mentioned early gum disease.
People who want a daily gum-care toothpaste with a fresh, clean feel rather than the original Corsodyl flavour.

Not suitable for: Not for children under 12 unless a dentist or doctor advises it. Stop using it if irritation occurs. Bleeding gums that do not improve with good brushing and flossing should be checked by a dentist – persistent bleeding can be a sign of gum disease that needs professional treatment.

How to use

Always follow the directions on the pack.
Brush your teeth thoroughly twice a day, and not more than three times a day.
Spit out after brushing and minimise swallowing. Do not rinse straight away, so the fluoride stays on the teeth.
Use every day alongside regular dental check-ups. If the carton's end flaps have been opened, do not use.

Frequently asked questions

Is Corsodyl Ultra Clean a medicine?

No. It is a daily fluoride toothpaste. It does not contain chlorhexidine, the antibacterial in Corsodyl mouthwash and dental gel, so it can be used every day long term.

Can children use it?

It is for adults and children aged 12 and over. For children under 12, use it only if a dentist or doctor advises, and supervise brushing.

Why does it taste salty?

The formula is based on sodium bicarbonate (bicarbonate of soda), which gives a slightly salty, fresh taste and helps lift plaque from around the gum line.

How is it different from Corsodyl Original toothpaste?

Both are sodium bicarbonate fluoride toothpastes for gum health. Ultra Clean has a fresher, cleaner taste designed to leave teeth feeling ultra clean; the fluoride level (1450 ppm) is the same.

Will it stop my gums bleeding?

It helps remove the plaque that causes bleeding gums when used twice daily. If bleeding continues after a few weeks of good brushing, see your dentist.

Safety and storage

Stop using it if irritation occurs.
