Can I use it during my period?

Menstrual flow reduces how well the gel works, so it is better to use the course outside your period.

Can I use it while pregnant?

The manufacturer states it can be used in pregnancy, but speak to your doctor or midwife first if you think you may have a vaginal infection while pregnant.

Can I use it if I am trying for a baby?

Avoid it if you are trying to conceive, because it is acidic. It is not a contraceptive.

Does it contain allergens?

The glycogen is derived from shellfish (oysters). Do not use it if you have a shellfish allergy.

Is it an antibiotic?

No. It works by restoring the normal acidic pH of the vagina rather than by killing bacteria.
