Frequently asked questions
How absorbent is the Normal pad?
Normal sits in the middle of the TENA Discreet range, at 4 of 8 drops. Choose Extra or Extra Plus for heavier leaks.
Can I use a period pad instead?
Period pads are made for menstrual flow. Bladder pads like this one absorb urine faster and control odour.
How often should I change it?
Change it regularly and whenever it feels wet. The pack states up to 12 hours of dryness.
Is this a medicine?
No. It is an absorbent hygiene product. If leaks are new or getting worse, speak to your pharmacist or GP.
Safety and storage
- Use only as directed by the manufacturer.
- Stop using it if skin irritation develops.
- Dispose of used pads in a bin, never in the toilet.
- Keep the packaging, including plastic wrappers, away from babies and young children.
