Check before taking
- Do not take if allergic to the ingredients or alongside another medicine containing paracetamol. Check cold, flu and sleep products as well as painkillers.
- Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding because this product contains caffeine. Limit caffeine from drinks and other sources.
- Ask a doctor first about liver or kidney disease, low body weight, malnutrition, regular alcohol use, severe infection or serious illness.
- Check all other medicines with a pharmacist, especially flucloxacillin, warfarin or other anticoagulants, metoclopramide, domperidone, colestyramine and lithium.
Overdose and side effects
Get medical advice immediately after an overdose, even if you feel well: paracetamol can cause delayed, serious liver damage. Stop and seek urgent help for breathing difficulty, facial swelling, serious rash or skin peeling. Consult a doctor for unexplained bruising or bleeding, jaundice, or deep rapid breathing with drowsiness, nausea or vomiting; the leaflet describes a rare serious acid–base disturbance in at-risk patients. Too much caffeine may cause shaking, sleep difficulty or chest discomfort.
Storage and supply
Keep out of children’s sight and reach. Do not use after expiry; follow the pack’s storage instructions.
This pharmacy medicine is supplied at the pharmacist’s professional discretion. Our pharmacist may contact you to check suitability. If we cannot obtain the information required, supply may be delayed or the pharmacy-medicine part of your order cancelled.
