Gout Test Kit – At-Home Uric Acid Test

Who Is This Test For?

This test is designed for individuals who may be experiencing symptoms of gout, a condition caused by high levels of uric acid in the blood.

The main symptom of gout is sudden, severe pain in a joint — most commonly in the big toe, but it can also affect the feet, ankles, knees, hands, wrists, or elbows.

Gout is more common in men aged 30–50, although anyone can be affected.
You may be at higher risk if you have any of the following:

• Obesity

• High alcohol intake

• High cholesterol

• High blood pressure

• Kidney problems

• Diabetes

You will also need a timer (not included).

Understanding Your Results

Your uric acid level is considered high if it exceeds the following reference ranges:

• Children (under 12): 120–340 µmol/L

• Women: 140–360 µmol/L

• Men: 200–430 µmol/L

Please note that these values are general guidelines. Results should always be interpreted alongside other health factors and symptoms.
