Frequently asked questions

How often can I use it?

As often as your skin needs it. Regular use, including after washing, helps keep dry skin comfortable.

Is it a medicine?

No. Cetraben Cream is regulated as a medical device emollient. It contains white soft paraffin and light liquid paraffin to soften and protect dry skin.

Is there a fire risk?

Yes. Paraffin-based emollients can soak into clothing, dressings and bedding and make them catch fire more easily. Keep away from naked flames and cigarettes; washing fabrics reduces but does not remove the risk.

Which size should I choose?

The cream is the same in every size. The 1050g pump is the most economical size for frequent whole-body use; a 50ml size is also available.

Safety and storage

• For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes.
• Fire hazard: keep away from fire, naked flames and cigarettes. Fabrics in contact with the cream burn more easily, even after washing.
• Stop using and seek advice if a rash, redness or other skin reaction appears.
• Store below 25°C. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
