Frequently asked questions

How does Rennie work?

Rennie contains calcium carbonate, an antacid that neutralises excess acid in the stomach. This helps relieve the burning feeling of heartburn and acid indigestion.

How fast does Rennie work?

As a chewable antacid, Rennie starts to neutralise stomach acid soon after you chew or suck a tablet, so relief is usually felt quickly.

How long can I take Rennie?

Rennie is for occasional, short-term relief. If you need it regularly, or symptoms persist, speak to your pharmacist or doctor so the cause can be checked.

Can I take Rennie in pregnancy?

Heartburn is common in pregnancy. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your pharmacist or doctor before use to confirm it is suitable for you.

Can I take Rennie with other medicines?

Antacids can affect how some medicines are absorbed. Leave a gap between Rennie and other medicines, and check with your pharmacist if you are unsure.
