Product details
Strepsils MENTHOL 1.2mg/0.6mg Lozenges contain two antiseptic ingredients (2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol & Amylmetacresol) for use in throat medications. These are used for the symptomatic relief of mouth and throat infections.
Suitable for
Adults and children aged 12 years and over and the elderly.
Age Restriction
You must be at least 16 years old to purchase this product.
How to use
Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.
Adults and children (over 12 years old) and the elderly. Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours.
For children aged 12 to 16 no more than 8 lozenges per day.
For adults no more than 12 lozenges per day.
Not suitable for children under 12 years.
Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to. For oral administration only.
Hazards and Cautions
Remember young children can choke on lozenges.
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients do not use this product.
If you are pregnant, or if you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this product.
May cause allergic reactions including asthma. This is more common if you are allergic to asprin.
Consult your doctor of pharmacist if:
- you take too many lozenges
- anything unusual happens
If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
Do not use after the expiry date.
Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.
Storage
Do not store above 25°C.
