Who it is for

- People with dental pain, period pain, backache or headache who want both medicines in one tablet
- People who have already tried a single painkiller without enough relief
Not suitable for: anyone under 18; anyone with a current or past stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding; anyone allergic to ibuprofen, paracetamol, aspirin or other NSAIDs; and anyone already taking another product containing ibuprofen, paracetamol, an NSAID or aspirin above 75mg a day. Avoid in the last three months of pregnancy. Speak to your pharmacist or doctor first if you have asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, high or low blood pressure, or heart, liver, kidney or bowel problems.
How to use
- Read the patient information leaflet inside the pack before you start.
- On the first day of pain, try ibuprofen or paracetamol alone first; if that is not enough, start Nuromol the next day.
- Adults over 18: take 1 tablet, or 2 if required, up to 3 times a day with food.
- Leave at least 6 hours between doses and do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
- Use for the shortest time needed. If symptoms last more than 3 days or worsen, consult your healthcare professional.
Frequently asked questions
How many Nuromol can I take a day?
Adults over 18 can take 1 to 2 tablets up to 3 times a day, with food, leaving at least 6 hours between doses. Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
Can I take Nuromol with other paracetamol or ibuprofen?
No. Each tablet already contains both ibuprofen and paracetamol, so you must not take any other product containing either ingredient, or any other NSAID, at the same time. Doing so risks an overdose.
When should I use Nuromol instead of a single painkiller?
Nuromol is intended for pain that is not relieved by ibuprofen or paracetamol alone. The leaflet advises trying a single painkiller first, and only moving to the combination if that does not give enough relief.
Should I take Nuromol with food?
Yes, take it with food. The ibuprofen component can irritate the stomach, and taking it with food reduces the chance of stomach upset.
