Overview

Hydromol Cream is a light, gentle emollient cream that lubricates and hydrates dry skin. It helps smooth the skin's surface by sealing in moisture. It's a CE-marked medical device in a 500g pump dispenser.

What It's For

• Managing dermatitis/eczema, psoriasis, ichthyosis, senile pruritus and any other dry skin condition.
• Non-steroidal, so it's suitable for long-term daily use.

Ingredients

Active: Sodium pyrrolidone carboxylate (sodium pidolate) 2.5%.

Also contains: liquid paraffin, isopropyl myristate, sodium lactate solution, cetomacrogol emulsifying wax, myristyl myristate, macrogol cetostearyl ether, hydroxybenzoates (E218, E214, E216), phenoxyethanol and purified water.

How to Use

Apply liberally to dry skin as often as needed, ideally at least 3–4 times a day. It works best straight after a bath or shower.

Fire Warning

This product contains paraffin. Clothing, bedding and dressings that have been in contact with it can catch fire easily. Washing reduces the build-up but doesn't remove it completely. Keep away from naked flames, gas fires and hobs, and don't smoke.

Other Warnings

• For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes.
• Parabens and cetostearyl alcohol can cause skin reactions in some people. Stop using it if irritation occurs.
• For babies and young children, check with a pharmacist or health visitor first.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
