    On 21 July 2026, the MHRA approved the world's first lower-carbon asthma inhalers (Clenil Modulite 100 mcg and 200 mcg) using next-generation propellant HFA-152a. The medicine and effectiveness remain unchanged. Available in the UK later in 2026.
