Olbas Oil is a blend of pure plant oils for the relief of bronchial and nasal congestion, hayfever and minor infections of the airways by inhalation. Applied to the skin, it also relieves the symptoms of muscular pain and stiffness. 12ml bottle with a dropper and child-resistant cap, sold by Ways Pharmacy (UK).

Not suitable for: Do not use Olbas Oil if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, or on broken skin. It is not recommended as an inhalant for babies under 3 months, not recommended in hot water for children under 2 years, and not recommended as a rub for children under 12 years. Do not put drops directly into the nose or mouth. If you are pregnant, may be pregnant, breastfeeding or planning to have a baby, ask a pharmacist or doctor for advice before use. Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you take blood-thinning tablets such as warfarin and intend to use Olbas Oil on your skin.
How to use
- Read the label and Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) before use.
- For inhalation and external use on unbroken skin only. Do not put drops directly into the nose or mouth.
- As an inhalant, adults and children aged 12 and over: add 2 or 3 drops to a tissue and inhale the vapours, or add 2 or 3 drops to hot water and inhale. At night the tissue can be left inside a pillowcase.
- Children aged 2 and over: add 2 or 3 drops to a tissue and hold it close to, but not touching, the child so they can breathe in the vapours. Children aged 3 months to 2 years: use 1 drop the same way. Avoid direct contact with the child's skin and clothing.
- As a rub, adults and children aged 12 and over: apply with gentle massage to the painful area three times daily.
- Contact a doctor if you do not feel better, or if you feel worse, after 7 days.

Can I use it for a baby?
It is not recommended for babies under 3 months. From 3 months, put 1 drop on a tissue held close to but not touching the child, or place the tissue in the bedroom out of reach at night. Avoid direct contact with the child's skin and clothing.

- Hot water may scald. Close supervision is necessary with young children.
