Evana Heavy Period Relief
This medication is intended to reduce heavy menstrual bleeding over several cycles in women who have regular menstrual cycles.
Suitable for:

Active Ingredient:
- Tranexamic Acid (500mg per tablet)
How to Use:
- Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.
- Patient Information Leaflets are updated periodically by the manufacturer.
For oral use:
- Begin treatment when heavy bleeding starts.
- Take 2 tablets 3 times a day for up to 4 days.
- For very heavy bleeding, take 2 tablets 4 times a day for up to 4 days.
- Do not take more than 8 tablets in one day.
Important: Use Evana Heavy Period Relief only if you experience both heavy and regular periods. If you're unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
What qualifies as heavy periods?
Heavy periods may include:
- Bleeding through clothes or onto bedding (“flooding”)
- Needing to change sanitary protection every 2 hours or more frequently
- Using double sanitary protection
- Passing large blood clots
- Periods that prevent normal daily activities
What are regular periods?
Regular periods occur when the time between the start of one period and the next is between 21 and 35 days, and the cycle length remains consistent.
Hazards and Cautions:
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
- Do not take if you:
- Are allergic to tranexamic acid or any other ingredients.
- Are under 18 years old.
- Have irregular periods.
- Are pregnant.
- Are taking oral contraceptives ("the pill").
- Have kidney problems.
- Have blood in your urine between periods.
- Are taking medications to prevent blood clots (e.g., warfarin).
- Have a personal or family history of blood clots.
- Have disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC).
- Have a history of fits or seizures.
Storage:
- Store below 25°C.
